Albertsons Signature Select Redesign

Albertsons is so, so massive in terms of scale and production. They have several private labels and I was lucky enough to heavily work on the Signature Select redesign rollout from the beginning to the end. The goal was to move away from the rigid, uniformed design system that had been put in place due to the volume of products they carry. Instead, products were properly put into the categories they belonged in and each one got its own special treatment to compete harder against national brands and gain consumer trust. This was a much more fun approach but also a pretty big undertaking. It ended up being the perfect crash course into the world of CPG for me and I got to design in many categories. I still have a hard time processing how many things I’ve worked on that are sitting on grocery store shelves right now and will end up in many, many kitchens throughout the country.
